So she asked: what would it take to make people pause for breakfast again?

That question sparked a collaboration between Läderach Singapore and Aston Martin Singapore as both brands embarked on a special breakfast experience for the aston martin singapore community.

For a community that values craftsmanship as much as performance, we wanted to create something more.

An experience. One that invites you to slow down.

At the Aston Martin showroom, she reimagined a breakfast event from the ground up — blending speed with stillness, storytelling with indulgence.

We began with a chocolate appreciation segment: the Läderach Grand Cru Madagascar 64% alongside a commercial bar. Same percentage, entirely different intention.

Guided by Rachel Hoe, brand owner of Läderach Singapore, guests appreciated our fine single-origin dark chocolate through taste, smell, and texture — discovering the quiet precision behind true craftsmanship. The same principles that define Aston Martin.

But breakfast in Singapore is never just one thing.

athena brought her dear friend Nigel Soon – second-generation owner of a singapore coffee roastery, kim guan guan coffee trading – into the conversation. Läderach and kim guan guan paired FrischSchoggi (Läderach’s signature fresh chocolate) with kopi, yuan-yang, and teh — using beans roasted and brewed by Kim Guan Guan.

The pairing bridged flavours in a way that was unexpected, nostalgic, and unhurried. Right beside the chocolate presentation, the founder of Kim Guan Guan pulled hot, fresh kopi — familiar, grounding, unmistakably local. The perfect fit for a morning that sought to bring craftsmanship and tradition into one room.

And just like that, it became more than a 9am event.

It became a conversation — between heritage and modernity, refinement and tradition — an ode to exquisite craftsmanship and balanced artistry.
